6 RBI Day for Kole Sonnier gives JMU Millers Baseball their first victory in program history!


Kole Sonnier drove in six on three hits to lead JMU Millers Baseball past Wiley College Wildcats Varsity 15-6 on Monday. Sonnier drove in runs on a double in the second, a double in the third, and a double in the fifth.


JMU Millers Baseball collected 14 hits and Wiley College Wildcats Varsity had eight in the high-scoring affair.


Wiley College Wildcats Varsity fired up the offense in the first inning, when Kai Woodard singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.


JMU Millers Baseball tallied five runs in the fifth inning. JMU Millers Baseball offense in the inning was led by Sonnier, Nick Webre, and Landon LeBlanc, who all drove in runs.


Nathen Paul led things off on the mound for JMU Millers Baseball. The pitcher went three innings, allowing one run on two hits and striking out four.


Jerry Vickers toed the rubber for Wiley College Wildcats Varsity. Vickers surrendered four runs on four hits over one inning, walking one. #45, Chance Guidry, and #00 each contributed in relief for Wiley College Wildcats Varsity.


JMU Millers Baseball totaled 14 hits in the game. Sonnier, Trevor Durr, Connor Pleasant, and LeBlanc each had multiple hits for JMU Millers Baseball. Sonnier led JMU Millers Baseball with three hits in three at bats.


Woodard went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Wiley College Wildcats Varsity in hits.
